Leonard L. Bagley, 87, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mr. Bagley was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Marcile Leiter Bagley.
Mr. Bagley loved Jesus, and enjoyed farming his 48 acre farm in the panhandle of Florida. His favorite hobby was experimenting with plants and soils. In the early 1960s, he had the first hydroponic gardens in Huntsville. He also enjoyed traveling and his favorite trip was seeing where Christ lived and preached in Israel.
Survivors include his sons, Jeff Bagley of Huntsville, and Jon R. Bagley of Florida; daughters, Jennifer Steele (James) and Jana Cox (Col. James) all of Huntsville; six grandchildren, and brother, Ferris Bagley of Panama City, FL.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
