Leonard Gordon Metts, age 84, of Hamilton, AL, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Marion Regional Nursing Home. He was born in Florida on day, February 25, 1940, to George Metts and Inez Pike Metts.
A graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Hamilton Memory Garden. The interment will be at Memory Gardens
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Cribbs Metts; parents, George and Inez Pikes Metts; brothers, Albert Metts, Butch Brooks; sister, Mary Brooks Kerm.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Michele Metts Sauls; granddaughter, Dawn Sauls Highland; grandsons, Jacob Sauls, Joshua Sauls; great grandson, Jasper Highland; great granddaughter, Jupiter Highland; sister, Shirley Metts Hobbs; brother, Kenith Brooks; also, the Helms family, Mike, Gwen, Ashlee and Tesney Holbrook, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
