Leonard Alters, 91, Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was a former native of Indiana.
Funeral service will be Thursday, October 31, 2013, 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Seth Hood officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Survivors include wife, Janice Alters; children, Bob Alters and wife, Barbara, Bernie Alters and wife, Kim; stepchildren, Bill Knight and wife, Jackie, Debbie Dixon, Sandra Williams; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Knight and wife, Mary Ann, Ruth Fauth and husband, Jim, Linda Graves and husband, Henry, Estelle Kreglow and husband, John, Gloria Watts and husband, Bill, Roy Knight and wife, Brenda; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
