, age 61, of Harvest, died on Monday June 1, 2015.
Leon was born to the late Ralph and Annie Coleman in Greenville, Alabama. At an early age, Leon gave his life to Christ and remained faithful until his passing. He joined the Army in 1972 to have a wonderful career until retiring in 1995 after 22 years of service.
Leon leaves to cherish his wife of 23 years, Joan Coleman; his children, Jerry Butler, Latasha Coleman, and Lenora Coleman; his grandchildren, Johnathan “Zay” Coleman and Diamond Coleman; his 2 step daughters, and grand and great grandchildren; his siblings, Ralph Coleman, Jr., Lora Fenner, and Calvin Coleman, Sr.; and a host of family and friends.
Leon’s family will receive friends on Friday June 5, 2015 from 5pm until 7pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.
