Lenice L. Smith, 88, Russellville, Alabama, passed away November 29, 2012, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home. She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 1, 2012, 12 noon, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Doris Channey officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Survivors include sons, Dannie Smith, Jimmie Smith and wife, Patsy, all of Russellville; daughter-in-law, Joyce Smith, Russellville; grandchildren, Annette Hargett, Debbie Rutherford, Bridgett Tate, Vikki Martin, Christopher Smith, Kylene Smith, Stephanie Gandy, Jeffery Smith; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas J. Smith; son, Nolen Smith; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jordan, and Maysen Smith; parents, Elmer and Mary Fannie Hester; sisters and brothers, Viola Oliver, Dena Hooper, Mattie Bendall, Lonnie Hester, Trannie Hester, Arthur Hester, Johnnie Hester, and Riley Hester.
