Lena Ruth Martin Stults, aged 90, of Iron City, TN, departed this life on Thursday, September 5, 2024. She was born on October 31, 1933 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Will Henry and Annie Jenkens Martin.
Lena’s heart was entwined with that of Leon Stults, whom she married on January 26, 1956. Their love story continued to blossom until Leon’s passing on July 16, 2024, leaving a profound void in Lena’s life.
For two decades, Lena dedicated herself to Lincoln Brass Manufacturing Company, where she touched many lives with her commitment as an assembler. A member of Burns Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Lena’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her daily actions and relationships.
Outside of her work and devotion, Lena found joy in the simple pleasures—cooking delicious meals, creating beautiful quilts, and nurturing her beloved flowers.
She is survived by her son, Carl Stults of Iron City, TN; daughter, Debra Yocom (Allen) of Lawrenceburg, TN; step grandchildren, Blake Yocom (Alexis), Hope Cody; step great grandchildren, Andy Cody, Alex Cody, and Gwenovere Yocom.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Taylor Martin, Jack Martin, Henry Martin, and John Martin; and sisters, Lula Martin and Lela Rutherford.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Pallbearers will be Carl Stults, Danny Robertson, James Putman, Don Hale, JC Daniel, and Rusty Phillips.
