Lee Roy Horton was born June 5, 1938 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Levi and Icie Mae Ledford Horton.
Mr. Horton was united in marriage to Brenda K. Tanner on August 30, 1996. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired and had worked for the McNairy County Highway Department. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Selmer, Tennessee and a member of Masonic Lodge in Selmer, TN. He loved hunting, fishing and raising dogs.
Mr. Horton departed this life on November 4, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 4 Months, 30 Days.
He is survived by two daughters, Kimberlee Fay Cahill and husband John Francis Cahill II of Cape Coral, FL, and Julee Lynn Hollomon and husband Christopher Dean of Selmer, TN; two sons, Benjamin Lee Horton and wife Ashley Leigh of Marietta, GA, and Jonathan Ray Horton and wife Heather of Selmer, TN; two adopted sons, David Edward Horton of Dublin, CA, and Douglas Eugene Horton of Lexington, TN; two step children, Dana K. Sweat of Selmer, TN and Joe David Sweat and wife Ashley of Selmer, TN; a sister, Lillie Mae King of Franklin, TN; 13 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Horton was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
