Lee Ridings, 85, of Huntsville, and a Christian, went home Tuesday.
The USAF and engineering companies transported him from Roseboro, Arkansas to Huntsville via Greenland’s icy mountains to the Pacific’s classic sunsets.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Anita Ridings; Geary Ridings and wife, Joan of San Jose, CA; daughter, Dana Ridings of Seattle, WA; Arkansas nieces and nephews; and Oregonian relatives, Linda, Mike, Patti and Savannah Johnson, and Ron and Michelle Waits.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. L. David Blakeney and Rev Mike Hulsey officiating. A memorial service will follow at 11 Thursday at Farley Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Farley Community Church or Clearview Cancer Institute.
