Lee Norton Sims, 67, of Madison, AL, passed away on November 4th, 2023, at Athens Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on October 16th, 1956, in Montgomery, AL, to Ralph and Doris (Greer) Norton.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her husband of forty-two years Daniel Sims of Faulkville, AL; daughter Lucy Sims of Chattanooga, TN; son Dan Sims (Samm) of Madison, AL; brothers Phil Norton (JoAnn) of Mongomery, AL, and Ted Norton (Becky) of Montgomery, AL; sisters Laurie Norton of Montgomery, AL, and Betsy Yates of Montgomery, AL.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Doris Norton.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, November 9th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Steve Housley officiating.
Mrs. Sims loved her children, her dog, Bruno, and Alabama football. She grew up a member of Eastern Meadows Church of Christ. She was known for her sense of humor, keen wit, being young at heart, and her contagious laugh. Mrs. Sims was second momma to many and extremely wise.
