CW5 (R) Lee Michael Tutin, 55, of Owens Cross Roads, AL passed away on Thursday, January 7th 2021.  Lee was born in Baltimore, MD on November 6, 1965 to Milton and Marianna Tutin. He graduated from Embry Riddle University with a degree in Professional Aeronautics.  Lee retired from the Army in 2009 after a 24-year distinguished career, having flown Kiowa Scout Helicopters and serving the Aircraft Survivability community. Lee had a knack for lighting up the room, and he could always be counted on for a well-timed joke. He had an immense love of the outdoors, including hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed these activities with his family and friends.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Robin; his children Dustin Tutin (Kara) and Kathryn Tutin; two grandchildren Elijah and Charlotte; his sisters Christine, Patricia, Marianna, Teresa, and brother, Daniel. Lee will be cremated by Berry Hill Funeral Home and a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a scholarship created in Lee’s honor to the Army Aviation Association of America, either by sending a check to: AAAA Scholarship Foundation, Inc., 593 Main Street, Monroe, CT 06468; or online at www.quad-a.org/scholarship. Be sure to write on your check “In Honor of CW5 (Ret.) Lee Tutin” and, if online, insert his name in the “In Honor Of” window.
