Lee Edward Hicks, 75, died at his home in New Albany, surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Lee was born in Joliet, Illinois, on December 12, 1946, the son of Charlie and Mary Hicks. He moved to New Albany from Joliet, Illinois, in 1994, and was employed as a production worker at Master-Bilt. He was a Baptist, and loved NASCAR, woodworking, and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of forty eight years, Joanne, of New Albany; son, Timothy Hicks, and his wife, Lacy, of Rincon, Georgia; daughter, Jody Edwards, and her husband, Jeremy, of New Albany; brother, Clifford Hicks, of Joliette, Illinois; sister, Ninette White, of Cleveland, Tennessee; and four grandchildren, John Hicks, Joey Hicks, James Hicks, and Jaylee Edwards.
Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Dorothy Good.
A memorial service will be officiated by Brother Mark Bishop at Glenfield Funeral Home at 7:00 P. M. on Thursday, July 14, 2022. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P. M. until service time on Thursday.
