Lee B. Daniel, 88, of Southside, passed away March 22, 2022. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Collier-Butler Chapel. The family will receive friends following services until 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Southside. Services are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Mr. Daniel was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Daniel. Mr. Daniel was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Southside Seniors and a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Alabama State Department of Revenue. He also retired from the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery Committee after serving for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Margaret ; daughters, Lynne (Ken) Wood and Karen (Ty) Putman; grandchildren, Lindsay Pearson, Kevin (Mary) Daniel, Lauren (Jeremy) Evans, Nathan (Ellie) Putman, Justin Daniel and Cassie (Tito) Micucci; great grandchildren, Cooper Pearson, Layla Daniel, Cori Beth Pearson, Hudson Evans, Copeland Evans, Andrew Daniel and Charlie Putman.
