Learn To Fish March 26

MUSCLE SHOALS-The Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries’ & MSNHA are bringing the Go Fish, Alabama! program to the Shoals. Participants will fish under guidance & instruction from a skilled fishing mentor with all equipment provided at no cost. We will learn how to cast & how to clean a fish. We’ll also learn about regulations, safety & ethics and then fish the remainder of the morning. This program is for adults & families interested in learning how to fish. All participants 16-65 must obtain a freshwater fishing license before participating. The event will take place at the Fleet Harbor boat ramp in Muscle Shoals on March 26 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM. to pre-register for this event visit GoFishAlabama
Alabama residents can purchase their license online at DCNR Hunting and Fishing – General Information (alabamainteractive.org) or at most Walmart & Ace Hardware locations, sporting goods stores & similar businesses.
Non-resident students should fill out the attached form, have it signed by a school official (adviser, financial aid office, anyone who verify enrollment) & take it to the local probate office or license office.
Notes:
*Non-residents living off-campus will need to provide a copy of their lease agreement when submitting forms probate office or license office to verify residency.
*International students will need to have school ID, passport and/or birth certificate when submitting forms to probate office or license office.
*Non-resident students need to have student ID with them when submitting forms to probate office or license office.
