Leah Joy Seibert of Athens passed away August 30, 2017, after a long and brave battle with cancer. She was born December 1, 1998. She was the adopted daughter of Henry Seibert of Clanton, AL and the late Cathy Malone Seibert.
She is survived by her parents, Wade and Kay Loggins, her devoted boyfriend. Trace Birdwell, her special extended family, David and Joanne Mandel, Brian Mandel, Ryan, Amie and Katlyn Mandel, Ryan, Elizabeth and Elliot Ash; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Leah was a member of Elkmont Church of Christ and a 2017 graduate of Elkmont High School.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Elkmont High School gymnasium from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Steve Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Brock, David Dowd, Curt Hoillingsworth, Joe Bates, Steve Bates and Sam McMeans. Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Smith, Clifton Moss and Bill Tribble.
