Marterius Shamar Adams
LAUDERDALE COUNTY-On 04/16/2022 Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of S Blair St. When agents were making entry into the residence, an occupant of the residence threw evidence out of a window. The evidence was a box that had contained just under a pound of Fentanyl pills. The total approximate count of the pills was over 2,800 pills. The approximate street value of the pills is $56,000. The occupant was later identified as Marterius Shamar Adams.
Lauderdale County Drug Task Force was assisted by Florence/Lauderdale SWAT Team, Florence Police Department, Florence Police K-9 unit, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office and Colbert County Drug Task Force.

The investigation continues. Upgraded charges and charges on additional suspects are expected.
