LCSO Arrest Woman Charge her With Burglary

LIMESTONE COUNTY-The Limestone County sheriff’s Office released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who has been charged with Burglary 3rd degree:

“On December 19, 2021, Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Cary Moore and Jesse Gibson responded to a burglary call in the 25000 block of Beatline Road. When Deputies arrived on scene, the homeowner advised that someone had broken into her residence. The homeowner further advised that Christmas gifts from under the tree, debit card, jewelry, change, and clothing, were taken from the residence. The homeowner indicated to deputies that a female subject, later identified as Sarah Rose Gregory, was seen by another family member, kneeled between two hedges by the homeowner’s back porch. The subject was confronted and ran in the direction of her residence located near the victim’s residence. Deputies Moore and Gibson were able to recover the stolen Christmas gifts, clothing, and debit card, outside the residence in the yard. Deputies Moore and Gibson located Sarah Rose Gregory sitting on the front porch of her residence, and she was positively identified by the victim. Deputies Moore and Gibson recovered the stolen jewelry and change at Gregory’s residence.
Sarah Rose Gregory, 35, of Athens, Alabama, has been charged with Burglary 3rd. Gregory is being held in the Limestone County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.

“I am proud of Deputies Cary Moore and Jesse Gibson for quickly responding to the scene of this burglary, assisting the victim in
locating the stolen property, and finding the offender. I’m especially happy that these stolen Christmas presents were returned and will be enjoyed this Christmas.”
