LCDTF Arrests 68-Year-Old Lexington Woman On Drug Charges

LEXINGTON-On 01/24/2025 Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence at 3833 Highway 64 Lexington, AL.ย  This is in the Center Hill community.

The search warrant was obtained due to the drug dealing activates of one of the occupants of the residence.ย  A search of the

residence revealed approximately 29 grams of Methamphetamine (ICE), prescription pills, and marijuana.ย  Agents located various pieces of paraphernalia including necessary items used for distributing drugs.

Arrested and charged:ย  Teresa Merle Canerday, 68, Lexington on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Agencies assisting the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force during this investigation were the Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s off and the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office.
