Mr. Lawrence Parker, age 71, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Saturday, June 2, 2024, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Parker was born in Alabama on August 31, 1952, to Enice Wiley & Lillian Wilma Pilgram Parker. He retired after thirty-two and a half years with the carpet yarns mill here in Boaz followed by growing poultry for over 15 years.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife: Dana Parker of Boaz, Sons: Christopher (Laura) Parker of Albertville, Richard (Natasha) Parker of Boaz, Duston (Iris) Parker of Boaz and Tyler Parker of Harvest, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, Brother: Doyle (Joan) Parker of Albertville and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Wiley & Lillian Parker, Sister: Katheryn Hanson and Brother: Jerry Parker.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
