Lawrence Michael Schick 80, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Schick was born February 17, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Donald and Dorothy Fitzgerald Schick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church and was retired from Chrysler Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Schick. He is survived by his wife Rita Schick, two sons, Michael Schick and Thomas Schick; two daughters, Dr. Cindy Allen (Greg), and Elisabeth Schick; two grandchildren, Madeline Allen and Ben Allen; three brothers, Donald Schick, James Schick (Cynthia), and Robert Schick (Martha); three sisters, D’Anne Schick, Mary Ellen Hahn (Leo), and Emma Lou Neper (Roger). Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 10:00am until 11:30am at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church followed by a mass at 11:30 at the church. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
