Funeral service for Lawrence Looney Humphrey, 88, of Guntersville, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 20th, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Etha Cemetery, Rev. Albert Estes officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Humphrey passed away Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 at Barfield Healthcare. He was born September 1, 1931 to Charlie & Lurlean Kemp Humphrey. He served his country in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He loved life and loved to dance.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clarence Humphrey; two sisters, Pauline Jeffers, Martha Taylor.
Survivors include his son, Steven Humphrey; brother, Charles Leon (Murriel) Humphrey; sister, Phyllis Hudgins; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; special friends, Duke (Teresa) Spain; family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday at Cullman Funeral Home from 12-2 p.m.
