Lawrence Edward Fields was born October 22,
1946 to the late Willie and Carlillian Fields.
He departed his life on April 28, 2022 at his
home in Verona.
He confessed hope in Christ and joined Chandler
Temple CME Church at an early age and remained a
faithful member until his health failed.
Lawrence was a sports fan playing for Verona
Blacksock for many years. He loved fishing and
hunting. He retired from Barber Milk Company
after 30 years of services.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife: Hazel
Fields; (3) daughters: Demetria Fields of Verona,
Barbara White (Willie) of Verona and LaToya
Seller of Tupelo, MS; (1) son: Lawrence Fields, Jr.
of Verona; (1) sister: Dorothy Logan of Tupelo; (13)
grandchildren; (20) great-grandchildren and a
special friend, Mr. Herman.
He was preceded in death by one sister: Kathleen
Watkins, three brothers: James Curtis, Mac Arthur
and Clinton Field
