LaVon Grace Andre, 89 of Huntsville passed away Monday at a local hospital. Mrs. Andre was a native of Nebraska, a resident of New Orleans, LA for 40 years and a resident of Madison County since 2005. She was a member of The Queen of The Universe Catholic Church and the Saddlelites Square Dance Club of New Orleans. LaVon loved music and the arts and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include one daughter: Elaine Andre of New Orleans; two sons: William L. (Patricia) Andre II of Huntsville and Daniel J. (Jody) Andre of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister: Norma Fry of Ewing, NB; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 4:00 p.m. with Deacon Jim Bodine officiating. Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, LA at a later date. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
