Laurie Ruscoe Wells, 87, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born April 22, 1937 to the late Herbert Calhoun Ruscoe and the late Annie Laurie Wall Ruscoe. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood. Laurie enjoyed playing the piano, singing, shopping and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Lee Peden officiating. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday October 21, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her daughters, Betsy (Charles) Knight of Golden, and Laurie (Robert) Ustianowski of Palatka, FL; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nancy Lawson of AL,and Hettie Wall Ruscoe of Greenwood, MS; and sister in law, Dianne Ruscoe of Greenwood, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rush Wells; parents, Herbert Calhoun Ruscoe, and Annie Laurie Ruscoe; daughter, Melinda Fuller; brothers, Ben Ruscoe, and Herbert Ruscoe; and sister, Marjorie Lotz.
Pallbearers will be Brett Knight, Mitchell Knight, Jason Gholston, Robert Marascalco, Joey Minter, Bryan Fuller, and Ryan Knight.
