Laura Mae Dunivan Laura Mae Dunivan, age 91, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mama, granny, great granny and friend passed away Friday, March 8th, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm Wednesday in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Dewayne Dunivan, Sterling Roberts, Mack Roberts, Jacob Freedle, Lucas Freedle and Rod Freedle serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 9am until time of the service at 12pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ms. Dunivan was born May 19, 1932 in Robertson County, TN to the late Nathan and Willie Ann Brown. She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Ray, 7 brothers and sisters and great grandson Alex Freedle.

Ms. Dunivan is survived by her four children Wanda (Bryant) Warren of Springfield, TN, Stephen (Michelle) Dunivan of Orlinda, TN, Brenda (Skip) Lange of Crestview, FL, Randy (Sara) Dunivan of Greenbrier, TN, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and another great great grandchild on the way along with many other beloved friends and family members.

Ms. Dunivan was married to Thomas Ray on June 25, 1950 and raised 4 children together in Greenbrier, TN. She was widowed in 1975 and continued on to work hard and be an example to her family. She loved reading, puzzles, bingo, road trips and was truly the life of the party everywhere she went. She was a firm and straightforward woman that loved her family and friends fiercely. She was a resident of NHC Healthcare Center for 11 years and was loved and respected by all there. She will truly be missed by all that was blessed with her presence.
