Laura Fay Caperton – Obituary

Laura Fay Caperton , age 63, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a caregiver, and a member of Leoma Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher.  She was a lover of animals, always taking in any strays and loving them as her kids.  Laura was an expert crafter, always sewing and making gifts for her loved ones from baby blankets to stuffed sock monkeys.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Wade and Mandy Jane Hill Caperton; two brothers, Buddy Caperton and Leroy Caperton; one sister, Pauline Hall; and three nephews, Jerry Gay, Danny Brown, and Wade Caperton.

She is survived by

She was a second mother to Kenny, Sue, Lisa, and Jackie, where she was always involved in their lives.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  A memorial service will be conducted at Leoma Baptist Church at 3:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2017.  Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
