Laura Brown Gordon, 57, of Athens, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at her residence.
Miss. Gordon was born October 14, 1966 in Limestone County, AL to Douglas Clinton Gordon and Kathryn Brown Gordon.
She is preceded in death by her father and her nephew Jeffrey Rhodes. Miss. Gordon was a member of St. Timothy Episcopal Church. She loved music and playing base, piano. Miss. Gordon was an avid Auburn Fan.
Survivors include her mother Kathryn Hall of Athens, one brother Skip (Cynthia) Gordon of Huntsville, three sisters Martha Rhodes (Jeff) of Florence, Mary Beth Young (Mike) of Athens and Diane Hall (Pola Carter) of Huntsville and several nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.
The Funeral service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Episcopal Church, with burial at Athens City Cemetery.
