Laura Anne Rudy (nee Bumann), passed away peacefully after a short illness on March 14, 2024, in Huntsville, Alabama at the age of 64. She was born on November 19, 1959 in Columbus, Georgia.
Laura was a dedicated book-keeper at Pensacola Shipyard and Marina and Magnolia Trace Assisted Living. She was known for her no-nonsense attitude, fun loving nature, and devoted loyalty to her friends and family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Rudy; step-son, Casey Laehn; brother, David Bumann (Meredith); nephews, Jesse Bumann and John Bumann; and several cousins.
She is preceded by her father, Paul Frederick Bumann; and mother, Grace Anne Twilley.
A visitation to celebrate Laura’s life will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Monday, March 18. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Huntsville Animal Services.
