Laura Ann Wilson Thompson, 88, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Monday.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verna Hinshaw Wilson & Earl Toy Wilson; husband, W.M. Merl Thompson; and son, William Dale Thompson.
Surviving are daughters, Debbie (Larry) Mefford and Gelan (Kevin) Hollis; four grandchildren, Tanya Mefford, Doug Mefford, Karri Franks and Laura Taymon; two bonus grandchildren, Kevin Hollis II and Chad Hollis; six great grandchildren, Madyann, Vann, Georgia, Ayden, Marilyn and Chelsea; two great-great grandchildren, Levi and Whitley and brother, Dan (Judy) Wilson.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Meeks officiating.
Interment will be in Hayden Cemetery.
