FLORENCE-The Lauderdale County Drug Task Force issued a press release concerning the arrest of one person on several drug charges after receiving a call from the Florence Police Department:
On 06/07/ 2022 Florence Police Department officers responded to a fight call at Cherry Hill Homes. While there investigating the fight Officers could smell the odor of Marijuana coming from one of the apartments.
“Officers observed in plain view Marijuana and a set of scales in Apt 437 B. Officers contacted Lauderdale County Drug Task Force. Agents obtained a search warrant for the apartment. While searching the apartment agents located Marijuana, crack cocaine, hydrocodone pills, digital scales, and a razor blade with cocaine residue. All of these items were within reach of two children inside of the residence.

Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
