Benny served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. After his discharge, he spent several years in North Carolina before returning to Alabama. In 1982, Benny married his wife, Angela, and during their marriage, they raised children together. After their children left home and for several years, they traveled the United States and lived their dreams. They lived in California, Wyoming, and most memorably…Montana. Benny loved the outdoors and loved this time. He enjoyed the beautiful mountains, the wild horses, panning for gold, and exploring with the love of his life.
People that knew him would tell you that he always had a smile on his face and that he never met a stranger. Benny loved living and always saw the good in people. He celebrated life every day that he lived. His family will miss him dearly.
