Latrive Defoor Bailey left this walk of life and moved to her new home in Heaven om August 25, 2022 at the age of 89.
Her visitation will be Monday August 29, 2022 from 1:00PM – 3:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 3:00PM in the chapel, with her son, Larry Bailey speaking. Burial to follow in New Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Nauvoo, AL.
She leaves behind two sons, Larry Bailey (Shelia) and Wendell Bailey; two daughters-in-law, Jane Bailey and Barbara Bailey; seven grandchildren, Christy Crownover, Sarah Rhodes (Brad), Stephanie Hogue (Kevin), Brooke Middleton (Mike), Matt Bailey (fiancee Jennifer Howell), Jeremy Bailey (Jessica) and Jackie Ensor (Ben); sixteen great grandchildren.
Latrive was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Bailey; two sons, Bruce Bailey and David Bailey; parents, James H. “Jim” and Ola Defoor; sisters, Nener Tittle, Ila V. Aldridge and L.E. Hannah; brothers, Harold, M.L., J.W., Claude and Clayborn “Bunk” Defooor, as well as a host of nieces and nephews of whom she was very fond.
