Graveside Funeral service for Latane Turney Burgess, 90, will be Monday, April 20, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Center Springs Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burgess died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born October 18, 1924, in Morgan County to Wesley Mason Turney and Bernice Lemmond Turney. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband: William T. Burgess in November of 1997, and her parents.
