Lassie Vandiver, age 96, Haleyville, AL. passed away Thursday January 11, 2018 at her daughters home. She was a faithful member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be at New Prospect Baptist Church on Sunday January 14, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. , with her funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m., with Bro. Scotty Brackin and Bro. Ron Horton officiating. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Lassie is survived by her daughter, Olena Terrym her husband Donald; daughter in law, Barbara Vandiver; grandchildren, Melinda Carlson, her husband Dale, Michella Hemrick, her husband Lynn, Jeffrey Terry, his wife Angie, Darrell Vandiver, his wife Lisa and Donny Vandiver, his wife Julie; great grandchildren, Benjamin Carlson, his wife Emily, Jerica White, her husband Jon, Dakota Carlson, his wife Sydnee, Mallory Kilgro, her husband Tyler, Wesley Hemrick, Morgan Terry, Levi Terry, Alex Vandiver, his wife Jordan, Cayli Vandiver and Andrew Vandiver; great great grandchildren, Brayden Wright, Jaren Johnson, Bryant Carlson, Joan White, Paislee Moore and Hollie Jo Vandiver; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Monroe and Maudie Letson Vandiver; husband, Wallace Vandiver; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
