Mr. Larry Wayne Leonard age 78, of Guntersville passed away on February 26, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Leonard was born in Centre Al and graduated from Marshall County High School. Larry loved cars. He traveled to Dallas Texas weekly for years buying and selling cars. He and his brother owned and operated Leonard Bros Motors for over 45 years.
He was a member and deacon at Pleasant Hill Baptist #2 in Guntersville.
He is survived by his wife, Janette Kelley Leonard; daughters, Carla Riley (Chris), Kristin Reaves, son Stephen Leonard (Leah); grandchildren, Gavin (Lauren), Garett (Emily), Kaitlin, Savannah, Caden, and Carter; great grandchild, Madeline; brother, Kenny Leonard (Joan).
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Chester Leonard; mother, Beulah Leonard and sister, Debbie Cavazos (Gilbert).
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Larry will be laid to rest in a private graveside service following the visitation. Andy Beasley, Randall Buchanan, Larry Lyles, Phillip Pritchett, Garrett Riley, Jason Thomas will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Caden and Carter Leonard.
