Larry Wayne Kiser
Larry went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 5, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, C. E. and Susie Walker Kiser, two sisters, Brenda Triplett and Peggy Gibson. He is survived by two sisters; Betty Hopkins and husband Curtis of Royal, Arkansas and Norma Samsel of Morristown, Tennessee; nieces, Martha Carter and Susan Triplett; nephews, Scott Killian, Tim Killian, Mike Samsel, and Steve Samsel; lots of great nieces and nephews whom he adored; a liftime friend, Jay Wheeler of Johnson City, Tennessee; and special neighbors and friends, Sam, Robin, Parker, and Anna Bedwell.
Larry is a veteran and served in the United States Army in Germany from 1955 – 1958. He is retired from Diversified Refrigeration in Selmer, Tennessee. He had also worked 7 years in Consumer Finance, 10 years with Daniel Construction Company, and 10 years in the grocery business. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Scott Killian, Tim Killian, Matt Killian, Ryan Killian, Steve Samsel, Johnny Cook, Sam Bedwell, and Parker Bedwell. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Lynnfield Place in Selmer.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11:30 am, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, with Jetta Forsythe officiating. Burial will be at Lake Hill Memorial Gardens in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
