Larry Wayne Bell, age 75 died Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at AHC of McNairy County Nursing Home in Selmer, TN with his devoted wife of 24 years by his side.

Larry was born June 9, 1948 in Corinth, MS to the late C.B. and Jewel Rogers .Bell. He graduated from Ramer High School in 1966 and still stayed in touch with a lot of his classmates.

Larry went on to be a man of many trades such as working on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean, a millwright, carpenter, painter and retired from Mississippi Polymers working in the maintenance department.

He loved old cars and trucks, hot rods, rat rods, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He had a few motorcycles back in the day and still rode his Harley up until his illness. He still kept his motorcycle, he always said “The place didn’t feel like home without a bike around and his 1993 GMC Yukon.”

Larry is survived by his wife and long time friend of 28 years, Judy Bell of Ramer, TN; two daughters, Brooke Bell of Corinth, MS, Lainie Baker and husband Jed of Michie, TN; stepson, Daniel Strickland of Plantersville, MS; stepdaughter, April Gomez and husband Modesto of Plantersville, MS;

seven grandchildren, Taylor Poindexter, Payton Tomlinson, Jaycee Tomlinson, Aiden Crider, Asa Baker, Coley Bell Baker, Rosa Esparza; one great grandchild, Lila Drew Hester; sister, Linda Howard; brother-in-law, Frank Wayne Utz.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Bell; father, C.B. Bell; mother, Jewel Meteer; stepfather, Wayne Meteer.
