Larry Waide Aycock, 66, passed away on July 31, 2024 at his residence in Russellville, Alabama. He was born in Russellville, Alabama to his parents George Robert Aycock and Grace Mae Case on September 12, 1957. He worked as a machinist tool and die for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Grace Aycock; brothers, Dennis Aycock, Brad Aycock, Rodney Aycock; father and mother-in-law, Milverd and Azalee Bailey.
Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce Aycock; son, James Bailey; brother-in-laws, Jeff Bailey (Kim), Wayne Bailey (Renee); grandchildren, Anilee Gayle (Ejay), Adren Bailey, Bradly Bailey, Elizabeth Bailey; great-grandchildren, K’mya Gayle, Ezekiel Gayle; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Akins Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with services following immediately at 2 p.m. Jamie Kiel and Anilee Gayle will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens, Russellville, Alabama.
Pallbearers are Daniel Aycock, Grant Tarascou, Ejay Gayle, Cody Williams, Johnathan Humbers, and Kody Caldwell. Honorary Pallbearers are Mason Borden and John Stockman.
