Larry was born on June 3, 1943, in Maury County, Tennessee, to Clifton and Lizzie Bell Johnson Logue. He was married to Katherine Janice Logue for thirty-eight years. He was a hard-working man, and dedicated to providing a living for his family. He was retired, after working for many years as an insulator in the construction industry. He was a member of the Local 86 union. He was talented and could build anything. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
Cherishing his memory are his beloved wife: Katherine Janice Logue of Columbia; children: Tammy (Murray) Body and Tracy Logue Miller, both of Columbia; 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; sister: Virginia Brown of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son: Troy Logue; siblings: Martha Hodge, Betty Southern, and Sonny Logue; and mother-in-law: Ruby Johnson.
Funeral services for Larry will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, with James Norton officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Friday, August 2, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at 12 Noon.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold and Reba Meador, Bill “Bird” and Paula Johnson, Bill Shelton, Paula Goodman, Tom Miller, Jimmy and Sara Gobble.
