Larry Ted Crownover, age 68 of Decherd, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. A native of Franklin County, he was born on April 1, 1952. Larry was currently employed by Tinsley Paving and had previously worked at Henley Supply and Decherd Fire Department, where he had retired as Captain after twenty-five years of service. He enjoyed dirt track racing and was an avid fan of Alabama “Roll Tide” Football, Kentucky Wildcat Basketball, and Atlanta Braves Baseball. Larry was a member of Maxwell Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark “Pete” Franklin; sister, Marie Cathey; daughter, Jodi Renee’ Crownover; and son, Spencer Crownover. Larry is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pamela Crownover of Decherd; mother, Augusta “Auggie” Crownover of Decherd; brother, Lawrence (Joyce) Crownover of Burns, Tennessee; daughters, Melanie Martin of Decherd, Kristy Crownover of Decherd, and Jada (Terry) Garrison of Winchester, son, Jeff (Brena) Tate of Huntland; and grandchildren, Tyler C., Tristan, Kaleob, Kayden, Cole, Troy, Sgt. Dylan, Savannah, Zack, Brittany, Tyler S, Hunter, and Josh. Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Rev.
