Larry Robert Fratus Profile Photo A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors for Larry Robert Fratus, 83 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:30 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home –South Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens.  Tommy Wilson will officiate the service with Rodney Swindle delivering the eulogy.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South.  Mr.  Fratus passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Country Cottage in Corinth.  He retired as a Machinist’s Mate Chief Petty Officer after serving his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy.  He retired as a machinist from Pennzoil Refinery in Rouseville, PA and was of the Baptist faith.  Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the humming birds.  He loved telling stories, Pittsburg Steelers football, his family and dogs.  Larry is survived by his daughter, Tammy Parker; two grandchildren, Eddie Parker (Chelse) and  Kayla Wood (Corey); two great grandchildren, Burkley Collins Parker and Parker Reid Wood; his brother, Bob Fratus (Barb); his sisters, Judy Miller (Bruce) and Josephine Lauer; his brother-in-law, Dale Mallory (Diane); his extended family, Becky Marlar, Josh Marlar, Chris and Tabitha Marlar, Levi and Landon Marlar and Paisleigh Marlar; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Fratus; his father, Robert Fratus; his mother, Rosetta Hewitt and his father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Emilee Mallory.  Military will serve as pallbearers.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Larry Robert Fratus.
