Funeral Service for Larry “Poodle” Junior Slaughter, age 76, of Hanceville, will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Randall Waldrop officiating; interment in New Hope #2 Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Slaughter passed away on January 18, 2024, at Hanceville Nursing Home. He was born December 28, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Lawson; sister, Margaret Wilson; and brother, Michael Harris.
Survivors include his daughters, Myra Deese, Vickie Khan, and Tina Speakman, and caregiver, Patrick (Cindy) Turner.
