Larry Lee Hoops age 87 of Falkville, Alabama passed away August 7,
2024. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Claude Anderson Hoops
and Mary Elizabeth Hackworth Hoops, and his brothers Claude Jr, Joe,
Bobbie, Tommy and Clayton Hoops. Larry is survived by his wife of 67
years, Patricia Hoops, sons Marshall Lee (Mary) Hoops, Michael Layne
(Diane) Hoops, sisters Delores Yordy, Marti Wilcox, and Mary Lou
Stephenson, 8 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. After serving
his country as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, Larry
retired to Falkville, Alabama in 1977 to rear poultry and care for his
family. Larry was a devoted member of Westside Baptist Church and
will be greatly missed.
Services for Mr. Hoops will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 at Westside
Baptist Church 4250 Hwy 55 W, Eva, AL 35621. Family will receive
friends for a visitation from 12:30 PM until the service time at 2:00 PM,
with interment to follow at Missionary Grove Cemetery 1365 Co Rd
1141, Cullman, AL 35057. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
