Larry Joe St. John, age 85 of Fort Payne, passed away on January 31, 2024 at his residence. Mr. St. John was born on October 10, 1938 to the late Homer & Bera Lee St. John in Etowah Co., Alabama. He retired as a production supervisor for OvalStrapping, Inc. Larry enjoyed metal detecting, restoring tractors, all outdoor activities, and being with his family.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Pat Hester St. John; children, Kelly (Wyatt) Evans, Tracy (Billy) Johnson and Michael (Shannon) St. John; grandchildren, Savanna Bell, Chelsea Bell, Annlyle Johnson, Rufus Evans, and Kinsley St. John; great-grandchild, Scout Bell; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and close friend, David Rains.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rickey St. John; and sister, Linda Walker.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
