Funeral service for Larry Joe Riddle age 70 of Falkville will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kevin Free and Brother Tony Johnson officiating with burial in the New Center Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Riddle, who was born August 26, 1953, in Jefferson County to Bennie Riddle and Irene Bomar Riddle, died on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at his home in Falkville. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, loved to fish, play music, listen to Gospel music, watching westerns, and was an excellent cook. His children and grandchildren were his life and he enjoyed teaching them all how to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepdad, L.C. Blankenship, a sister, Brenda Gail Halbrooks and his brothers, Benny, and Jerry Riddle.

Matt Bomar, Shad Bomar, Todd Bomar, Jeremy Reeves, Kraig Tersigni and Daniel Bomar will serve as pallbearers.
