Larry James Fox – Obituary

larryLarry James Fox, 62 of Huntsville passed away peacefully Sunday. Larry was a Huntsville Firefighter for 38 years and served in the National Guard for six years. He was known for his big heart, his devotion to helping others, and his passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed being on his ranch with family and friends, but most of all his greatest love was having “Paw Paw” Day. He was a man of faith and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Larry was preceded in death by his father, James C. Fox.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki; daughters, Alicia Fox and Natalie Koob; son, Adam Fox; mother, Margaret H. Fox; grandsons, Tanner Overcast, Evan Koob and Houston Koob, twin brother, Gary Fox; brother, Richard Fox; and nephews, Stewart and Skylar Fox and Phillip Fox.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow in the chapel with Brother Hal Daigre officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama or Alzheimer’s Foundation.
