Larry Henson Mitchell was born on February 13, 1948, to the late Harold Brooks and Lillie Ann Henson Mitchell. He hailed from a family with a long-standing tradition of farming, and he himself carried on this legacy as a third-generation farmer in McNairy County, TN.
Throughout his life, Mr. Mitchell found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing and exploring the scenic beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains alongside his family.
On May 11, 2024, in Bolivar, TN, at the age of 76 Years, 2 Months, and 28 Days, Mr. Mitchell peacefully passed away. He is survived by his son, Drew Mitchell and wife Carrie of Bethel Springs, TN; daughter, Angelyn Mitchell of Lake Saint Louis, MO; five grandchildren: Andrew Peyton Mitchell, Chesney Paige Mitchell, Katelyn Skye Mitchell, Decklan Phoenix Zimmerman, and Bronx Aiden Zimmerman; along with five sisters, one brother, and a host extended family members and friends.
Mr. Larry Henson Mitchell’s legacy as a dedicated farmer and loving family man will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
