Larry Franklin Strawbridge, 74, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Red Bay to Frank and Pearl Barker Strawbridge. He was a member of Calvary Praise and Worship in Tremont, MS.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28, 1 p.m. at Calvary Praise and Worship with Bro. Marshall Green, Bro. Ray Stevens and Bro. Harvey Ewing officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife Jannis Strawbridge; children, Adam Porter (Dora), Joy Wood, Jeremy Porter and Christopher Porter; brother, William Otis Strawbridge; sister, Betty Smith and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nellie Ruth.
Pallbearers will be John Johnson, Blade Brown, Jordan Zilles, Sean Martin, Nathaniel Culpepper and Dustin Ewing.
Visitation will begin Friday, January 27 at 5 p.m. and continue until service time Saturday.
