Larry Favors, 54, of Rogersville, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Larry was known for his big personality and even bigger heart, a passion for racing and his love of cars. He was the President of Bama Tenn Mower Racing Association and the proud owner of Elgin Auto.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 2nd from 12 – 2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home, with a funeral service following in the chapel. Burial will be in Harvey Cemetery. Mickey and Trent Thornton will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Glenn “Shaggy” McLemore, Michael Gatlin, Pete Gilley, J Carey McCollum, Michael Stokes, Ken Garner, Brian Favors and Steve Williams.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Shirley Favors. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Favors; children, Heather Favors (Josh), Natasha (Tom) RaVetto, Neil Gibson, Anthony Gibson, Joselyn “Jazz” (Jay) Tarmon and Preston Favors; 8 grandchildren; brother, Rodney (Debbie) Favors; numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
