Larry Edwin Jarvis, age 81, of Huntsville, AL passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Jarvis was born in Sac City Iowa to Lynn Gilbert and Adeline Lee Jarvis. He served in the U. S. Army attaining the rank of Lt. Colonel and worked for the U.S. Government. He also owned an auto repair shop. Mr. Jarvis was a member of the Lions Club and a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lynn Gilbert and Adeline Lee Jarvis. Mr. Jarvis is survived by his wife of 61 years Bonnie Arends Jarvis; son Christopher Jarvis (Kimberly); daughters Cheri Hodges (Randy), Allison Kerklywich (Aaron) and Julie Jarvis; brother Lynn Jarvis Jr.; sisters Carol Carnine and Nelda Jardine(Bob) ; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mr. Jarvis will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church in Huntsville at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors and the VFW.
