Larry Dean Bishop, age 75 of Muscle Shoals, died Monday, December 14, 2015. Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2015, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brett Pitman officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bishop was a lifelong resident of the Shoals Area, a member of IBEW Local 558, was a Mason and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lucy Stanford Bishop and father and mother-in-Law, Amos and Mary V. Jones.
He is survived by his wife, of fifty four years Nellie Sue Bishop; children, Bruce Bishop(Sanda), Belinda Aderholt (Ben), Brett Bishop (Charlotte); brother, Frank Bishop (Peggy); grandchildren, Ashley Bishop, Brittany Bishop, Alexandra Aderholt, Nicholas Bishop, Cassie White, Megan Evans and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Brice Bishop, Barry Bishop, Greg Jones, Chris Craft, Jake Roberson, Lloyd Baker.
Honorary pallbearers are the members of his Sunday School Class.
